SIA 7983 1/2" Sanding Sponge is made of aluminum oxide on a foam sponge. This sponge is usable on both sides and allows it to take on the exact shape of the wood. Siasponge flex sanding sponge can be used for the sanding of hard, soft or veneering woods and also for the sanding of paint and varnish. The extra-soft foam of siasponge flex ensures maximum conformability. These sponges come conveniently color coded to make it easy on the shop floor to know which grit to use.

Grit Range:

  • Orange (Medium): 180 grit
  • Yellow (Fine): 280 grit
  • Green (Super Fine): 400 grit
  • Blue (Ultra Fine): 500 grit
