896 Pigment Colorants

896 Pigments are colorants with a water-reducible acrylic resin. They can be used in waterborne coatings in both air-dry and baking systems. This line was one of the first universal colorant systems developed for general tinting of water-based industrial coatings.

The 896 line of colorants exhibits excellent pigment development and rheological characteristics that contribute extraordinary stability to the colorant. They have little or not effect on gloss, dry time, water resistance, hardness, corrosion, foaming, or other coating properties.
