Care Seal FD is a high-performance clear vinyl modified nitrocellulose sanding sealer designed for use under nitrocellulose lacquers, acrylic finishes and pre-catalyzed topcoats. This sealer serves as a barrier against moisture with excellent penetration and adhesion in a ready-to-spray viscosity. This product can be ordered "catalyzed" for extra barrier protection against contaminates. While nothing is 100% full proof, the catalyzed version does help lock down potential contaminates when used in refinishing applications.
It is compatible with most waterborne topcoats. Testing is always recommended prior to using on a job.
