CLC30 Spray Stain Resin

Milesi CLC30 is a solvent-based spray stain resin engineered specifically for spray-only stain applications where precise control over wood grain definition, color development, and dry time is critical. This binder serves as the backbone of Milesi’s custom spray stain systems, allowing finishers to build highly repeatable, controlled stain formulas tailored to specific substrates and finishing goals.

Designed to be blended with Milesi-approved solvents, CLC30 enables exceptional clarity and grain control while providing flexibility to adjust open time and evaporation characteristics. Stains are created by tinting CLC30 with Milesi CIT Micro Pigments, KMT Pigment Pastes and CLT / CKT dyes, producing consistent color penetration without muddying or grain masking.

In most formulations, CLC30 accounts for approximately 10%–40% of the total formula by weight (binder + solvent + pigment). Reducers typically make up 20%–50% of the formula by weight, with LZC670 or LZC1026 commonly recommended to achieve desired dry times and spray behavior. For applications requiring increased open time, LTC96 or LTC31 additive may be incorporated in small amounts to further extend working time without compromising stain stability.
