Milesi CIT Micronized Stain Pigments are premium semi-transparent micro-grind pigments engineered for custom solvent stain development where clarity, grain definition, and color control are essential. Designed to tint Milesi solvent stain bases, CIT pigments unify wood color while minimizing the masking of natural figure, character, and depth.
Their micro-ground particle size allows color to disperse uniformly, delivering clean tone without muddiness and reducing settling during storage or mixing. The semi-transparent nature of the pigments enables light to pass through the film and reflect off the wood surface, producing rich, vivid color with a natural appearance rather than an opaque, painted look.
CIT pigments contain a small amount of binder, allowing them to be sprayed as a non-grain-raise (NGR) stain when blended with acetone for high-clarity finishing applications. When paired with Milesi CKT dye concentrates, CIT pigments can achieve deeper, more complex color spaces and enhanced visual richness.
